Job Locations and Reviews
Upon arrival, I identified a clog in the drain line from the cold bar. I accessed the clean-out point and used a mechanical device to dislodge the obstruction. After successfully clearing the clog, I ran the machine further to ensure the line was fully open. To confirm the line's patency, I flushed it with multiple buckets of hot water. I advised the team to run hot water while cleaning the dump sink to prevent future buildup. Post-completion, I cleaned up any mess created during the process. The job was signed off by Ryan.
We successfully installed a new water service line from the meter to the copper tail in the garage. The project involved trenching from the meter to the driveway's edge, followed by boring beneath the driveway and sidewalk to reach the entry point. We installed 1" black polyethylene piping with tracer wire, including a new meter coupling and dual check valve. This installation ensures efficient water flow and prevents backflow. Our work is backed by a 5-year labor warranty and a 25-year warranty on the piping, reflecting our commitment to quality and durability.
Upon inspection, the faucet handle had a broken add-on and a faulty spindle. I promptly replaced the spindle to restore functionality. The new spindle ensured smooth operation, allowing the user to effortlessly turn off the water. The handle was then securely reattached, resulting in a seamless and reliable experience. The job was completed to Natalia's satisfaction, providing them with a fully functional faucet once again.
Upon inspection, a slow leak was detected in the water service line, which spans approximately 140 feet. Despite the leak, there were no visible signs of water in the meter box or along the presumed path of the line. The line is made of copper and penetrates the wall in the garage. To accurately locate the leak, I coordinated with Bryan from Marksmen leak detection, who will visit on either Wednesday or Thursday to mark the exact location. Once the leak is identified, I will provide a detailed estimate for both the repair and potential replacement of the affected section.
Upon inspection, the check valve was found to be malfunctioning, causing a leak in the sewer system. I replaced the faulty check valve to prevent further leakage. Additionally, the service valves were incorrectly positioned on the discharge pipe, which could lead to operational inefficiencies. I relocated the service valves to their proper positions, ensuring optimal performance of the ejector pump. These adjustments were made to maintain the system's integrity and efficiency.

On 10/7/26, I addressed an issue with the 3" PVC exhaust pipe for the tankless heater. Water was dripping from the elbow, occurring intermittently for less than an hour. The pipe was dry otherwise. Suspecting condensation and a possible crack in the glue, I sealed the fitting with silicone. This resolved the issue, ensuring the pipe remains dry and functional.
On October 5, I addressed an issue with a pressure assist toilet in the straight-ahead restroom. The toilet was experiencing a clog in the trap, which was impeding its functionality. I began by assessing the situation and confirming the nature of the clog. Using a toilet auger, I carefully navigated through the trap to dislodge the obstruction. After several attempts, the clog was successfully removed, restoring the toilet to its proper working condition. I ensured that the area was left clean and tidy, and I verified that the toilet was functioning correctly before concluding the task.
Upon inspection, the floor sink trap exhibited significant buildup, which was impeding proper drainage. I meticulously cleaned the trap, ensuring all debris was removed. Following this, I applied a specialized drain cleaner to dissolve any remaining residue. I then flushed the drain with hot water to ensure complete clearance. Throughout the process, I monitored the sink to confirm that the drain was functioning optimally. The job was completed to satisfaction, and I verified the effectiveness of the drain by observing proper water flow. I signed for Carolyn and used one bottle of Glug for the cleaning process.
Upon inspection, the hot spindle on the pre-sink faucet was found to be broken, affecting water flow. I promptly replaced the faulty hot spindle with a new one that included a handle for easier operation. The new spindle was carefully installed, ensuring a secure fit and proper alignment. After the replacement, I tested the faucet to confirm that both hot and cold water flows were restored and functioning correctly. The job was completed efficiently, and the faucet is now fully operational.
Upon arrival, we conducted a thorough inspection of the drain for bar 2. The 1½” PVC drain was found to be severely warped, rendering it incapable of proper drainage. Consequently, the drain for both the sink and the espresso machine required replacement. Given the store's operational hours, the replacement work was scheduled to commence after closing. The necessary parts included a 1½” PVC coupler, three 1½” PVC 90-degree elbows, a 1½” PVC Y-branch, a 1½” PVC street 45-degree elbow, a 1½” PVC 45-degree elbow, and a stick of 1½” PVC pipe. The replacement was executed efficiently to ensure minimal disruption.

On August 25, I arrived to pick up lunch and was approached by the manager regarding a commercial service issue. The women's restroom toilet was experiencing continuous flushing. After discussing the problem, I confirmed our availability and connected the manager with Brian for immediate service. I promptly shut off the water supply and replaced the Sloan cartridge with a new 1.6 gpf cartridge. Following the replacement, I conducted several tests to ensure there were no additional issues, confirming the problem was resolved.
On August 25, I addressed a leak from a 3" PVC pipe near the office desk, which was identified as the exhaust side of the tankless heater. The leak had ceased, leaving a residual water ring on the fitting's lip. The water appeared to be seeping from outside the pipe at the ceiling tile. Additionally, the store had temporary HVAC units due to the failure of the main and secondary roof units. A worker had been on the roof the previous week, disassembling the units, but no signs of daylight or moisture were found above the ceiling tiles. I recommended a 20' extension ladder for future roof inspections if needed.
On 8/21/26, I assessed the metered faucet issue. It was confirmed that the faucet was not broken but turned off beneath the surface. Its supply line was being utilized to cool the store using a point-of-use HV/AC unit due to the main HV/AC unit being out of order. I coordinated with the HV/AC technician to ensure the faucet is restored once the main unit is repaired and the temporary units are removed.
I procured a new mop sink from the supply house and returned to replace the old one. I meticulously removed the existing sink, cleaned the area, and installed the new 24x24 mop basin. Using a pry bar, I ensured a secure fit. I applied a large tube of silicone around the sink and the wall to prevent leaks. Finally, I connected the 1/2” CPVC coupling to complete the installation.
I visited the supply house to obtain a new mop sink, then returned to remove the existing one. The area was thoroughly cleaned, and the new mop sink was installed. I used a pry bar to remove the old sink and sealed the new sink and surrounding wall with silicone. The new installation included a 24x24 mop basin, a 1/2” CPVC coupling, and a large tube of silicone to ensure a secure and watertight fit. The job was completed efficiently, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
I recently visited to inspect a tankless water heater that was recently installed. Upon thorough examination, I identified a specific issue with the unit. I contacted the customer to discuss the findings and the potential warranty coverage. If the issue is not covered, I scheduled a follow-up visit to address the problem. The customer was informed about the next steps and the possible costs involved. I ensured they understood the situation and were prepared for the upcoming service.
I replaced the hot and cold spindles on the Zurn faucet at the drive-thru dump sink, which had been leaking. The issue was resolved after installing a Chicago hot spindle and a Chicago cold spindle. Additionally, I addressed a leak at the mop sink, which was still dripping after a previous inspection. The sink requires replacement, and I will use a 24x24 mop sink, along with a tube of liquid nails for the tile and a small amount of hydraulic concrete. The shift manager signed off on the work, and I ensured all tasks were completed to satisfaction.
On 7/27/26, I attended to a sink that was not draining properly. The sink, located in a compact area behind the sandwich prep counter, had water backing up and failing to drain completely. After running water for approximately three minutes, it became clear that a blockage was present. I removed the p-trap and pipe to access the drain more effectively. Despite multiple attempts using a small machine to run through the drain, I could only dislodge about 1/10th of a blue rag and some buildup. The resistance felt during these attempts indicated a stubborn blockage. Unfortunately, I was unable to clear the obstruction entirely. To resolve this issue, I will need to return with a drum auger equipped with a corkscrew retrieval head to fully clear the blockage.
On 7/27, I addressed a dripping issue with the dump sink behind the register. I removed the goose neck and replaced the worn o-rings. The aerator was also damaged, so I replaced it with a new 1.2gpm unit. This ensured the sink functions properly and prevents water wastage. The repair was completed efficiently, restoring the sink to optimal condition.
Estimate pending. If approved, schedule for Wednesday 12pm 7/29. The job involved a comprehensive inspection and repair of the HVAC system. This included checking for leaks, cleaning the air filters, lubricating moving parts, and ensuring all components were functioning correctly. Additionally, I calibrated the thermostat and tested the system to confirm optimal performance. The work was completed with attention to detail to ensure efficiency and longevity of the system.
We recently completed a service for a renter whose home is managed by a property management company. Despite our policy against servicing third-party companies, we addressed a specific issue that required immediate attention. Our team efficiently diagnosed and resolved the problem, ensuring the tenant's comfort and satisfaction. We communicated directly with the renter to understand their needs and provided a detailed report to the property management company.
Upon arrival, I consulted with the managers who were uncertain about the work order. I located the backflow device, a Zurn Wilkins 950XL, positioned in the grass to the right as you enter the parking lot. The device features a single flanged shutoff from the meter, a single shutoff on the outgoing side, and three test ports. The piping transitions from 2” to 1-1/2” and back to 2” within 8 feet, with a 90-degree bend in a box. To improve accessibility, I returned and adjusted the boxes, ensuring the entire backflow device is now within a single box for easy access.
On July 13, I addressed a drainage issue reported by Annie, the shift manager. The dump sink, located beside the vertical machine, was experiencing slow drainage and was also connected to a rinse sink. I began by running a plunger through the drain while blocking the other sink to create pressure. After several attempts, the drain began to clear. I then tested the drainage by running water and found that it could now keep up with the faucet, allowing the sink to drain completely. The issue was successfully resolved, ensuring both sinks functioned properly.
